Dear Parents/Carers,                                            

A Year 2 trip to The Tropical Butterfly House, has been arranged for Tuesday 21st October 2025.  The excursion is a great way for our pupils to consolidate their knowledge of our Science topic 'Habitats and Living Things'. This is an important part of the school curriculum and it is hoped that parents will be supportive of the school's efforts to organise the venture.

The cost per pupil for the excursion is £15 and in order that the excursion can take place it is necessary that parental consent and payments are received by Friday 17th October. Payments for the trip should be made via your child’s ParentPay account but should you have any issue with this please contact the school office.

It is important for us to stress that in the event of an inadequate number of payments being received it will not be possible for the excursion to take place.

On the day of the trip, pupils should arrive at school at normal time, wearing full school uniform with comfortable shoes and a warm coat. A packed lunch, including a drink is required. As your child is entitled to a universal free school meal, please indicate on the form below if you wish for school to provide a packed lunch. 

We will return to school by 3.15pm.
