Dear Parents/Carers,                                      

As you may be aware, each year we aim for pupils from Year 6 to go on an exciting and challenging residential trip. The purpose of this trip is to enable the pupils to enjoy their time together following their SATs and before they go off to their chosen Secondary schools.

The visit for next year is provisionally booked at the Robinwood Dobroyd Castle Activity Centre in West Yorkshire for Monday 8th June until Wednesday 10th June 2026. The cost of this opportunity, including transport, will be approximately £326 per child*.

If you would like your child to go, a deposit is required and is payable via Parent Pay or by cash to the school office in September. The deposit amount is £57 and would be due by Monday 22nd September 2025. This will be followed by further payments to complete the remaining balance by Monday 20th April 2026.

This is not a compulsory visit and any pupils who do not wish to attend will continue with normal school activities during the given dates at school. We reserve the right to cancel the visit if the demand by the 22nd September is insufficient.
