Dear Parents/Carers,                                      

A Year 4 trip to Murton Park, has been arranged on Wednesday 22nd October 2025.  The excursion is a great way to support our Year 4 topic: Romans. This is an important part of the school curriculum and it is hoped that parents will be supportive of the school's efforts to organise the venture.

The cost per pupil for the excursion is £32.50 and in order that the excursion can take place it is necessary that parental consent and contributions are received by Monday 13th October. Payments for the trip should be made via your child’s ParentPay account but should you have any issue with this please contact the school office. It is important for us to stress however, that in the event of an inadequate number of parental contributions being received it will not be possible for the excursion to take place.

On the day of the trip, pupil's should arrive at school at 8.15am prompt for a 8.30am departure, wearing full school uniform, comfortable shoes and a waterproof coat. A home packed lunch, including a drink is required. If your child is entitled to a free school meal and you wish for us to provide a school packed lunch please contact the school office by Monday 13th October.

We will return to school at approximately 3.30pm traffic dependent.
